Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that effects over 30,000 children and adults in the U.S. and over 70,000 people world-wide. It is considered an "Orphan Disease" by the U.S. Government due to it not being as wide spread as other diseases. Because of this, all research money to helping find a cure for this life-shortening disease, comes from private donations.

Our lives, personally, have been affected by this disease, as my son, Porter, was born with it.
